Bridgewater Historical Wall Mural, NJ

From Concept to Reality

The city of Bridgewater, NJ recently celebrated the dedication of a laser etched granite wall mural. Looking to create a focal point and gathering place in the town plaza, the thirty five foot mural depicts the town’s history with drawings of significant events throughout the history of the township.

Solid Black PG certified granite tablets

The historical monument, a curving, 45-foot-long stone wall standing six feet high, contains seven five-foot PG Certified® black granite panels.  Meticulously cut to fit together, the panels were PGHD® Laser etched with finely detailed graphics from edge to edge and painstakingly installed onto the wall surface to create a 35’ foot seamless granite canvas.

What our clients had to say…

Once we began working with the representatives from Picture This on Granite it became clear that we had selected the right company for the job. With the guidance provided by the company we were able to use larger slabs of granite thus minimizing the seams needed in the mural.   Proper installation was a major concern since the scenes on each panel needed to match up perfectly with the adjoining panel to ensure the continuous flow of the mural.  The installers did a marvelous job of matching the scenes and minimizing the seams, the seams are barely noticeable.  The final product definitely exceeded our expectations.”
