Our graphic designers know what it takes to achieve the best quality image on
granite. We manipulate those images to achieve scale, 3D perspective and
apply the proper tonal values for just the right effect. We can help a client bring
their own design idea to a realization, work with their existing plans, or offer a
concept that suits their needs from our numerous design possibilities.
INSPECTION OF STONE
At Picture This On Granite, our process is different and unique. We
select, test and certify our granite to insure only the clearest images
are achieved. This is known as PG Certified Granite®. We work with
black granite because it is recognized as a high-end natural substrate
by architects and designers, it is a green product and provides the best
contrast quality for the creation of images and/or text.
LASER ETCHING QUALITY
Picture This on Granite uses Co2 lasers controlled by a
CNC machine, to laser etch high-definition images on
granite using a proprietary process known as PGHD®.
We specifically measure and control variables such as
stone temperature and 16 other measurable variables to
insure only the highest quality results. Unique
parameters are defined specific to each project that
enables us to control the entire laser etching process to
obtain unsurpassed results.
COLOR ON GRANITE
High-resolution laser etched images look even better in color. Color treatment
is suitable for indoor applications, however we do not suggest it for outdoor
applications as the color has a tendency to fade. This being said, we triple
seal our colored and non colored etched images to protect them for the
elements. We also provide a prescribed follow up maintenance program.

SHIPPING, CRATING AND PACKAGING
We carefully package and crate all of our products to
ensure their safe arrival to their intended destinations. Our
6000 square foot fully equipped facility is located a half
mile from the U.S. Vermont border. This permits us to
ship daily to our U.S. clients. We have a track record of
not just promising but delivering quality, on time,
personalized granite.
