From Concept to Reality-On September 11, 13 years after the 9/11 Attacks, about 75 people turned out for the official dedication of the new 9/11 memorial located at the entrance to the park and across from the All Veterans Memorial Park.
The memorial was the idea of Township Councilman Ray Perkins, a Vietnam veteran. He said he was in New York City when the towers were hit during the 9/11 Attacks.
